MOUNTAINS EXCURSION AMERINI of 14/03/2010
The trail winds along the ridge that divides the valley of the Tiber from the Tiber Valley.
A series of peaks at 1000 m. interspersed with two levels of altitude karst: The Female dead and fixed my plan, until you reach the Monte Croce di Serra (994 m asl)
The area, historically boundary and contact among different populations, Etruscan and Umbrian , Lombards and Byzantines, it was already popular in the Bronze Age, as evidenced by the findings of the Cave Bella di Santa Restituta and these castles in the hills.
Path: The Case (coconut), Pianicel Grande, Monte Rotondo, Female Dead, Piano Puos, Serra Cross, Mount Tegolaro, S. Quirico Valsarana (about 17.50 km)
