We are Anna and Gianluca, a couple of musicians from Verona.
We are experiencing a very strong since the day we were able to wait for a child which has been diagnosed with a serious malformation, two syndromes associated Dandy Walker and Down.
There is no medical documentation, only one case in 1989, died.
After a great moment of pain, doubt and fear, where we were put in front of an abortion on the night of March 5, 2009, in a vision of the future light there appeared before my eyes.
A great force has wrapped and we decided to accept the little Lucy and learn to see the world through his eyes.
A new world, wonderful, hope, a new life opportunities present themselves before, we only needed a little Yes, just accept what life presents to us in that moment blindly believing that the strength to face all would come.
After that yes, everything changed, everything became clear, the fear is gone.
We have chosen to share our choice and take the lead to be a beacon of light for other people ... so this idea after talking with people around who love us, was born on www.ilmondodilucy site. com , where the discovery until now we have told what was happening to us and Lucy, but under a different perspective.

On July 7, 2009 Lucy born by caesarean section and was transferred immediately to the first emergency operation of esophageal atresia, which are followed in the first three months of his life, even an operation to the head and heart.
After a long hospital stay, Lucy returns home and begins his life and demonstrated an enormous will to fight and live.
It's been just over a year after the birth of Lucy ... many things have happened in this period.
Since that night, March 5, 2009, when, after terrible moments of doubt, the choice of abortion seemed the easiest, we decided to welcome Lucy, it was all true.
On March 5, I wrote ... It is not pain, not pain, it all becomes clear .... do not we cancel ourselves, reset our lives ... we have before us a long dirt road .... Gianluca you and me, we walk together hand in hand, bringing hope ... sing, play the wonderful world of Lucy.
And so it was .. so it is.
On July 31 comes the World Association of Lucy, the Association of social promotion, with a particular identity.
The identity of this association is based on our experience, brings to life, transformed into music, words, drawings, pictures, songs written during the course of events.
